SCA Maintenance Worker

Job Description and Expectations

Employment guidelines: Labor Laws of Belize

Working hours: 45 hours weekly
Days: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

Education and Experience:
● High school diploma or five years related experience required.
● On-the-job training offered.

Physical Requirements:
● Prolonged periods standing and walking.
● Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
● Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Attitudes and Skills Needed:
● Good Attitude
● Ability to work in a Team
● Willingness to be flexible
● Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
● Knowledge of general maintenance.
● Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Job Duties:

The General Maintenance Worker will keep the building clean and aesthetically pleasing, perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, cooling and other building systems.
